The Amsterdam Connection (Chapter 1-4)

Summary:

Kate, a news reporter in London had a beer with her best friend and also her ex-boss, Max, at the Queen’s Head. Max is a fan of football, he spent all his free time watching football matches, and his brother, Tom, is the owner of Rotterdam City Football Club. So he asks Kate to write a sports report about their club,but Kate didn’t answer him. Two days after they chat together,Max was murdered in Amsterdam with 20 wounds by knife on his body.Kate tried many methods to find out why Max was killed.At last, she visited Jos van Essen,a retired footballer,and got some informations about Max’s death from him.

Reflection:

I think mystery novel is very exciting, but this book makes me feel a little bit sad, because the best friend and also the person who saved her life, was killed by someone.  Maybe  it was a the person who drank beer and wanted some money from him. What Kate can do is to find out the person who killed Max.  The worst thing is that, even if she caught that person,Kate still lost a person she likes very much in the world since then.
