Confucius：Now the time stops, let’s go!

Joe: But where should we go first?

Church: Yeah! Sansia is so big.

Jasmine: If you don’t have any opinion, let’s take Confucius to Sansia Tsushih Temple first.      

Confucius, Joe, Church: Ok! Let’s go.

Then they take a bus to the temple.

Confucius: What is the distinction of this temple?

Jasmine: I made a report about Sansia Tsushih Temple before. Let me be your “little” guide! This temple worship Tsushih, Tsushih is a legendary person…

Joe: I know! I know the story about Tsushih.

About a thousand years ago, life was not so convenient like today, at that time, people had to walk on the muddy road in order to transport goods to the market far from their town. What’s worse, if the river flooded, they had to make a detour.

  A kind child felt sympathetic every time he saw the people walking on the rugged roads. Even though some people waded through the dangerous river in order to save time. Some of people’s goods were flushed away, while others might be dead due to the accident of falling into the river. After he grew up, he planned raise money to build bridges and fix roads. He walked around and explained to rich men about the importance of these constructions. Consequently, they donated their money to build roads and bridges, so that people can be safer during transporting their goods. Aside from building roads and bridges, the king man also studied medicine and helped the townspeople who could not afford the money to see a doctor. As a kind-hearted person, he tried some herbal medicine to improve his medical operation, which made him poison and his face turned black. Then he is now the significant Tsushih. In order to pay him back , the townspeople built a temple to worship him and celebrate his birth on lunar January first.

Confucius: Oh I see! He is really a great person. By the way, the design of this temple is really awe-inspiring! Especially the pillars at the gate.

Joe: Yeah! The pillars are really the works of Gods.

Jasmine: The designer of this temple is Li Mei-shu, this temple si his one of his masterpieces, from the floor to the ceiling are all design with utmost care, it is not sloppy at all. Take the pillars for example, on the pillar there are a hundred kinds of birds, and none of them are repeated, which shows Mr. Li Mei-shu’s high standard of his works.

Church: A hundred kinds of birds? That is really unfathomable.

Confucius: As I watch the temple, I can feel that Mr. Li Mei-shu want to do his every works perfectly. Visiting this temple really get an eyeful of the fantastic works. It would be greater if I have the chance to learning from Li Mei-shu.

Joe: Confucius, please don’t learn things anymore, the more you learn themore we have to study.

Jasmine: Joe, learning is a good thing.

Church: The action of Confucius is the so-called Chinese saying “Xue wu chang shi”.

Joe: What is “Xue wu chang shi” means?

Confucius: It means you can learn knowledge from someone who is good at this aspect, I always study in this way because it can substantiate myself a lot.

Joe: Just like the Chinese teacher, math teacher, English teacher in our school?

Confucius: You may say like that.

Church: But why should we “Xue wu chang shi”?

Confucius: It is because we can learn a lot of things from anyone or anything around us, even the ants on the floor, we can learn of their hardworking. Try to contact with many aspects and realize the subtle inside them is the correct way to learn.

Joe: We really learn a lesson from Confucius.

Church: Now we finish visiting Tsushih Temple, let’s go.  

Jasmine: Yeah! After visiting Sansia Tsushih Temple, let’s go to Sansia Old Street.

 A group of people arrive at Sansia Old Street.

Confucius: Why is there a cow standing at the store’s doorway and many people are lining up?

Joe: That store sells Sansia’s specialty “Golden Croissant” is a kind of food, it looks like horn and its surface is roasted to golden, hence the bread’s name.

Confucius: I see!

Jasmine: It’s smells so good that I am so hungry.

Joe: Me too.

Church: Ha! Following me, I take you to take a taste of it.

Everyone follows Church and gets in the store.

Joe: Why do we come in the kitchen?

Church: This is Chef Chicken, a robot, he is good at making croissants. Now let’s follow him step by step to make croissants.

Chef Chicken: If you want to eat croissants then make them with me.

After half an hour, everyone finishes making their own croissants and they are taking a taste of them.

Confucius: It seems that I am able to be a chef.

Jasmine: It is much easier to make a croissants than I think.

Joe: But, Church, this DIY course may cost a lot.

Confucius: I don’t have any penny…

Jasmine: You two little fool, Church’s runs this store.

Church: Ha ha, everyone can eat whatever you want and there are some drinks in the refrigerator, this is my treat.

Joe: Oh yeah!

Confucius: Thanks a lot Church.

After finish visiting Sansia Old Street…

Confucius: It’s about the time to go back to school.

Jasmine: Let’s take Confucius back to school.

Joe: Happy time always past quick, it’s also about the time for us to go back to school and do our homework.       

Confucius: Don’t worry kids, we will have chance to meet again.

Church: We will miss you. If we read the magic spell again, will come out?

Confucius: You smart Church! But you can only read it once a month because I have a lot of students to teach.

Church: I see! Let’s ride U-bike back to school.

Jasmine: Wait Confucius do not know how to ride U-bike.

Joe: He don’t have to ride it because he can fly.

They arrive at the school

Confucius: Thank you guys for taking me to visit Sansia’s landscapes, cultures, and specialty, these are for you.

Joe: Three bottles of water?  

Confucius: No, they are magic water.

Joe: It’s still water.

Confucius: You can keep you healthy and your grade improve after drinking them. Ok, guys, it’s time to say goodbye.

Joe, Church, Jasmine: Goodbye Confucius.
