Characters: Three Students from Magic Dreamers’ High School (MDHS) and Confucius, the Statue on MDHS campus.
Joe, a boy who is eager for a romantic love likes to selfie on his smartphone listening to music all the time.
Church, a boy who is indecisive and insecure always takes an English pocket book with him.
Jasmine, a girl who is outgoing and boyish likes to fancy and does everything by intuition.
Confucius, the Magic Statue standing inside the inner gate, likes to help dreamers.
A mysterious person, Emma's owner ,everything of him is mysterious ,he looks like god ,having a handsome appearance.
Joe, Church, and Jasmine are studying in class 520, Magic Dreamers’ school. They have become good friends after working together on a geography report. During the ten-minute breaks, they always get together. Sometimes they chat in the classroom or on the hallway; sometimes they walk around the campus, go to the tuck shop, or even to the toilet.
One day, after English class, Jasmine shouted loudly at Joe and Church, “Let’s go!” “Where?” Joe asked without moving his eyes away from his phone. “Let’s walk around, shooting the breeze, since there are no more quizzes today.” “O. K. Let’s go, Church.” Church took his English pocket book, walking behind them.
They passed through the inner gate to walk around the sports field. While walking, Jasmine looked up at the sky, fancying that she was walking in the sky. “Wow, look at that cloud, looking like a castle. How I wish I could live in a castle as a princess does!” Both Joe and Church raised their heads, looking up and wondering where the castle is! “Did you watch too many cartoons, or too many Korean TV programs?” Church replied to her while Joe was shaking his head. “It’s so cold. I’m a little hungry. “I would like to buy some snacks in the tuck shop,” Joe said. Jasmine said she would like to take a longer walk. Church hesitated whether he should go with Joe or Jasmine. Jasmine said, “You two go first. I’m coming soon.”
After a while, Jasmine walked through the inner gate, going toward the classroom. Suddenly, she felt like there was somebody behind, gazing at her. She turned back quickly. But there was none. “Am I dizzy today? I don’t have any fever today,” she said, feeling her forehead by her right hand. She walked on. However, she still felt somebody monitoring her from behind. “What’s wrong with me today? It is almost time for Chinese Class. I have to hurry up.” She couldn't wait to tell her friends such feelings but she had to wait until the Chinese Class ended.
Finally the bell rang. She ran to Joe and Church to tell what had happened to her. At first, they didn’t think there was anybody that got interested in her. “Don’t worry. Our school is safe. We will protect you.” Jasmine was still wondering why she got that feeling, so she decided to walk again on the same path they walked during last break time. Church and Joe had no choice but to go with her. Once again, as soon as they went through the inner gate, going toward the classroom, Jasmine got that feeling again. All of them turned around, but nobody looked at her. They walked on again. After a moment, Jasmine felt piercing eyes gazing at her back again. However, Joe and Church felt nothing at all. “Maybe you are too tired. You stayed up so late last night.” the boys said. “But I stayed up almost every day from Monday to Friday. I didn't have such a feeling before,” Jasmine answered. While they were talking, Jasmine faced the statue Confucius. All of a sudden, she motioned the two boys to turn back. There was a sparkle the Confucius’s eyes. “Let’s go take a look at it.” When they got closer to it, the sparkle in the eyes disappeared. All of them rubbed their eyes. The Confucius was still the same –standing straight, looking forward, making a bow with clasped hands held at breast level, with a sword clasped by his waist band. “Illusions!” Church said. “No,” Jasmine said, “I want to see what on earth happened to the statue.” “Let’s walk around the statue to explore it.” “萬世師表” “學不厭” “教不倦”, these words inscribed respectively on the front, right, and left sides of the base are still the same. The dormitory behind Confucius Statue has nothing different.” Church repeated the words again, and Joe did so, too.
The bell was already rang, but Jasmine stick to check again in
detail. While there was still nothing happened. They had no choice but to go
back to classroom. There was a silence before a heavy storm. Their English
teacher, Mrs. Swallow, was standing beside the door with a fierce face just
like a monster.
“Why are you late? Don’t you know this is
my class? We have a lot of tests today, and we can’t catch up with the class
progress!” She shouted at them.
“I’m so...sor...sorry, but....”Church began
to stutter, his shoulder has shake a lot. The voice was so small that Mrs.
Swallow couldn’t hear clearly.
“Teacher, we find that there was a sparkle
in the Confucius’s eyes” Jasmine felt so excited and didn’t care how angry
teacher is.
“You guys not only be late on my class but
also lied to me, how shameless you guys it is!?” Mrs. Swallow’s face became red
and red, but Jasmine didn’t care.
“We didn’t lie! We can show you in break
time!”
“All right, don’t mention the statue again!
Go back to you sit!” Three students ran into classroom, Church even fell down,
all students in class laugh loudly.
“Who’s laughing!?” Mrs. Swallow shouted,
and the classroom went silence immediately.” Does your quiz concentrate,”
Although Jasmine should focus her attention on her quiz, but the
sparkle and the statue. In next forty minutes, she couldn’t hear anything what
her teacher said.
“Hey Joe, we go to Confucius Statue!” Just
after a second the bell rang, Jasmine couldn’t wait to leave the classroom. Joe
didn’t want to go anymore, for he was having a chat with a girl who is in his
will-be girlfriends list. He mostly let the girl promise to date with him.
Under her great threat, Joe had no choice but to go with her and Church.
“Why the statues eyes sparkled?” Joe murmured. She has a great
desire to find the secret.
“What’s wrong with you three guys?” Suddenly, Mrs. Swallow appeared
in their eyes with no sound.
“Hey, teacher, you scared us!” jasmine gasp in surprise.
“Why are you so secretive around the statue?” Mrs. Swallow put her
hands on her hips.
“We are investigating the sparkle of Confucius’ eyes,” Church pulled
his glasses, saying seriously.
“Umm.......Do you need to check your brain first?”
“Teacher! All we talk to you is truth, why don’t you trust us?”
Jasmine rise her voice, Joe was very impatient at side.
“OK, let me check your trick”.
As Mrs. Swallow touched
the statue, a big sparkle surrounded them, three students disappeared and left
Mrs. Swallow stay at former place.
“Why am I here now? It’s already four o’clock, I need to pick up my
children,” Mrs. Swallow murmur.
Everything’s seemed to be
still, so still......

“ Ouch! My knee got hurt! What’s happened?” Jasmine asked, but Jack
and Church had no answer, either.
Looked around, they found they were in the middle of crowd. The clothes people
wore just like the costumes of ancient China
“Where are we?”
Joe asked his two friends with surprise.
“I don’t know where
we are now, but can we just leave here first?” Church whispered to them, but
just as Jasmine prepared to answer, a man shouted in distance with gasp.
“Police is coming!”
“Police!? Run to the forest, quick!” Jasmine pulled up Joe and
Church and ran as fast as they can.
To get rid of those
people who wanted to catch them, three students ran through the forest and
found a cave to hide in.
“What did we do? Why they wanted to catch us? Why we are here now?
Didn’t we beside Mrs. Swallow ten minutes ago? Why......” Church hadn’t stopped
asking questions since they stopped running.
“All right! Stop asking why, Church! Jasmine and I have no answer,
either!” Joe lose his patient and shouted to Church.
“Calm down, please. We should calm down so that maybe we can figure
out what happened. The clothes those people wore looked strange. And did you
notice? Their house only made with straw and wood,” Jasmine asked tow boys.
“Maybe they just making a movie about China
“But I didn’t see any camera beside,” Jasmine distrusted.
“And if they were making a movie, they don’t need to chase us,” Joe
added.
“How about go back to there secretly?” Jasmine looked excited
instead of worried, Church felt unbelievable, what happened to this girl!?
“What!? Are you kidding? How if those crazy people call police to
catch or even kill us?”

“Wow! How a
smart boy! If I were you, I will not go back to there again, little girl, but
if you really want to die......” After Church just ended his word, a woman’s
voice appeared. Joe let his two friends stay behind him to protect them. It’s
an old lady with curl hair. She wore a tacky green dress and looked fearful
because of her expression.
“Who are you?
And how did you find us?” Joe asked the woman.
“Do you really
think you guys hide well? I can hear your voices even in distance!” She showed
a contempt smile. Joe looked around to find if there were any rocks or branches
or anything can throw to this strange woman, but there was nothing.
“Don’t waste
your strength to think how to attack me!” The woman shouted suddenly. Joe
startled, why she can know what he though?
“Who are you?”Jasmine took
courage to ask her. The woman glare at them, she just like a devil only exists
in movies. Compare with her, Mrs. Swallow is such a kind angel.
“Is this your politeness? You
should name your name first when you asked someone’s name.”
“I ‘m Jasmine, he is Joe, and he
is Church,”.
“I am Emma, someone gave you a
mission, and he let me helped you, now, folllow me, I think I have some clothes
to you guys.” Emma pulled Jasmine’hand rapidly, but Joe pulled Jasmine back.
“Follow you to where ? Why we
should trust you ? Who gave us the mission? What the mission is?”Joe still didn’t
trust Emma.
“Well, don’t ask too much , you”ll
understand everything. If you want to go back , you need to obey my majesty ,or
you’ll spend all your life staying at here.”The woman laughed with a scared
voice, like a witch.
“All right, a crazy woman “Jasmine
didn’t care too much .She think it was a good place.There is no test,no
homework ,and English teacher.It was really cool to stay a place like this.
In the way of the secret place,There
was a silence around them.Jasmine looked everything with curious,Church still
read his English book when walking,like it was nothing happened.
Only Joe looked so frustrated, he
thought why he need to receive the mission? Where is his godness? There weren’t
a lot of beautiful girl.If the mission failed just in case, he need to stay
there forever? No……..
“OK, we get there.”Emma stopped Joe’s howl in
mind.
In front of their eyes was a
magnific palace .Suddenly, Joe felt like in heaven.A lot of beautiful girls
like godness stand in two rows with respectful, waiting for their coming.
At this moment, they straight
their body ,for Jasmine, there was holy and they can’t infrige on.
In the middle of palace was an
astonishing chair, which has a great of elaborate sculpture , and looked sacred
.
A man sat on it , When Jasmine
could see him clearly, she almost indulge in his appearance.
She had ever seen a man like him,
he like a god, she couldn’t find any words to discribe him, everything of him
is perfect.No people could attract her so deeply.
“I’m sorry to call you to there.”The
man said.His smile was chaemimng
“who are you? Jasmine ask him
“You “ll find the answer. He make
the meaningful smile more deep.
“I need your help.”The man’s eyes
like a dark lake.”You need to let Confucious become a holy person like you guys
know him.”
“What ?!” When Joe came in,his
heart totally tied in thoes pretty girls. Now, he finally looked at him .
“Yes, you need to let him know
his set task.When he knows what he need to do , give those books for him.”His
hand appeared a several of book, it really scared them.
“Why you couldn’t do it by
yourself?”Joe complained.
“Because you are doomed to do
this .”
What a strange answer!Joe felt
.But Jasmine was so pleasure to do this for this handsame man, on the other
hand , she thought it was a cool mission.
“Do we have reward?”Joe said ,he
don’t want to do any thing without benefit.
“Yes,I’ll give you one wish.”
“We are three person, why you
just give one?”Jasmine couldn’t understand.
The man didn’t answer, still
giving them a meaningful smile. “I thought you are really tired now . Emma,
take them to guest room.”
The horrible woman suddenly
appeared without noise, The behavier let them know she wasn’t a normal person.
Fine,Joe thouht. There are a big
adventure for them……
