Summary:

Jensen,who wants to know why Max died,arrived in Amsterdam to meet Elly van Praag.ELLY
was a friend she made two years ago.Max was found died in De Pijp,which is becoming more
and more dangerous over these days.Jensen thought it was just a mugging but Elly didn't
agree but thought it was what it looks like.Then Elly gave Jensen a note which is one card
with name and address in Max's pocket.On the crad written,''Jos van Essen,Oude Schans 141''.
Afterward,Jensen went visiting Jos van Essen,who is a retired striker.After she left his home
she felt that Essen was frighten with something or someone,she thought him was guilty and didn't
tell her the truth.Jensen went to De Pijp,the area of the city where Max's body had been found.
then she went  into a bar,meeting Birt.Birt seems to know something about Max's death,but he told
Jensen he needed four four hundred guilders,and he will tell her some information about Max.
Birt told him that Cor Schaap wasn't the one who killed Max,the police caught wrong guy.
Reflection:

If were Jensen,I won't pay lots of money to get an information that I'm not sure whether it's true
or not.  They may let me get into a troublewhether I should believe Birt or not.I will listen to others'
information but not pay the money and also I will find the truth by myself  instead of  believing a criminal.
