The Amsterdam Connection (Chapter 5-10)

Summary

Kate met an old man,Bert in the bar.Bert told her that he knew something about Max’s death,but he told Kate to use four hundred guilders to exchange the information,after Kate took four hundred guilders out on the table,Bert told her that someone saw a man took Max out of his car and knifed his dead body many times at de Pijp,but the knife was gone.After Kate listened to him,she felt a sense of doubt about him,she thought he only wanted her money.Next day,Kate met Martijn Christiaans,who have forty-five percent of the shares in the club,but he wasn’t at home,so Kate went back to the hotel.As she arrived the hotel,she got a letter.That night,Kate went out for a walk,she was attacked by a tall man who has blue eyes. Fortunately,she kicked the man on his stomach,so he cannot pulled her into his car.

Reflection

I think these chapters are too surprising for me to believe,Kate is such a brave girl. She wants to find out who killed Max,she met many people and went to many places to collect the clue by herself,only because Max is the person who saved her life.After reading these chapters,the plots get more and more interesting,it makes me want to finish all book,and know who is exactly the person who killed Max.
