The Amsterdam Connection(Chapter3~Chapter8)

Summary:
Kate went to visit Jos van Essen, a footballer who retired at only twenty-eight. Jos said, Max was a scout of the football club, he looking for young players for the club and kids for the school, and Max has a heart attack since four years ago. Another information is that Jos has seen Max on Thursday, they drank together, and Max took taxi to see someone after that. And then, the Amsterdam police found who kill Max - a  well-known local drug addict and mugger, which means a sick guy who need money for drugs. Kate didn’t believe that, and decided to find out the truth by herself. So she went to De Pijp, in which Max’s body had been found. Bret, an old man in the bar, told some information for Kate (But we can’t know how he got it.).Bret said, his friend saw what happened to Max. Max was already dead when he was taken to that street. Someone took him out of a car, and then knifed him many times. After that, Kate went to visit Max’ brother-Tom Carson. He had a sad smile, but it seems not only because he had just lost his brother, but also has another reason. When Kate backed to the hotel, she got a short note to let her look into the money that was bet on Leiden to win the match against Rotterdam.
  Reflection:
This time seems give us more clues to find the true murderer. Jos has something information, but he didn’t say it. And why Carson is unhappy? It’s really because his brother, or has another secret reason? These things will let me keep reading. This time, I also get some great sentences. I put a head in my hands. This sentence is very vivid. I think I can use it when I want to express my irritation. I couldn’t speak for a moment. It looks like an easy sentence, but does everyone really use it? In Holland there is water everywhere. I most have chance to use this sentence when I want to introduce Taiwan, because Taiwan is also water everywhere. I took a deep breath and went up the steps to the door. I can use it when I want to voice my tension. Holding his head between his hands. I can use this sentence to describe a person’s pain. I will read on any more, I hope I can find the true murderer before I read the ending.
