Summary:
After the talk with Bert.Kate went to Rotterdam to meet Max's brother,Tom Carson,at his office.He took her to his own school.She saw many happy children there.Tom seemed very tired,not just because his brother's death.Then Kate went back to Amsterdam.She immediately went to the library for more information.She found something interesting there.Martijn Christiaans,the man who had the most money of Rotterdam City Football Club.She visited him later but he wasn't at home.Then she got a message from a stranger.That evening someone wanted to kidnap her while she was walking alone,but she fought them away.
Next day she met Elly's friend at Kanters.She got some very important information.She knew about The Amsterdam Connection.She told a policeman all of it but he didn't believe her.Then she watched a football match with Jos.The goalkeeper was good but played like five-year-old that day.Jos gave his sign and promised to see her tomorrow,but the next never came because he was found dead outside his apartment.She met the goalkeeper and he told her everything she wanted to know.Then she came up with a plan with Elly and the goalkeeper.When she was waiting for them.She was kidnapped by Chrisrtiaans and was thrown to a cellar with Elly.She then escaped outside and called the police to save them.They all be rescue.Then she told the police all thing she knew.The whole thing was end finally.
Reflection:
I finally finished this book.The ending is happy but sad,too.Kate is brave to overcome all the diffculties.
She is also kind of investigating her friend's death,because Max had saved her life before.She doesn't forget it,and she won't,either.The whole book is exciting and interesting to read.It's such a great book.I hope whether we can read another book like this in the future.I'm very glad to read this novel.
