Summary:
Kate
and Jos went to watch a football match, and Jos gave Kate a copy photo of the
Rottredam team. Kate required him to sign his name on the background, perhaps
with a little message. Jos expressed that he is falling in love with Kate. Kate
wanted to refuse him the next day, but Jos was found dead outside his
apartment. Kate went to visit Raul Sanchez, a footballer who got Criminals’
money to lose matches and wanted to stop it. So Kate、Elly and Raul decided to catch Chriminals. The plan was to let
Raul talk with him and record his voice. Elly would go with Raul to check he is
saving. However, the plan didn’t succeed, and unfortunately Elly and Raul were
arrested by Chriminals. In fact, Kate was also catch by Chriminals, but she run
away and found the police to help them. At the end, everything was got the
true. Chriminals killed Max because he want to tell the police what Chriminals
did, and also killed Jos because he knew too more things. Kate wrote this story
and had a holiday after that, there was something never change.
Reflection:
When
I read the whole book, I’m very appreciate Kate’s valor、calm and clever.Since she listened her friend’s death, she was very calm not crying or getting
crazy. Then step by step to find the whole clues, and found the murderer at the
end. I think we should learn Kate’ s faced-thing attitude and her do-thing way. I also get some great
sentences. There was a lot of noise with the
fans of both teams singing and shouting. I think I can use this sentence when I
wan to narrate something about live shows or sport games. But finally I saw that my words were beginning to work. When I want to describe that
I convince someone, this sentence is the best choice. The salt smell of the sea cleared my head and the morning light
danced on the water of the canals. This is my favorite sentence, because it depicts the
smell of nature and the beauty of the rising sun vividly. This book is
mysterious and interesting, and I let me want to read more and more English
novel.
